The Arab Foundation for Development and Citizenship (AFDC) organized a workshop in Amman on civil society organizations approach to media, attended by 22 participants from 14 various organizations.
The Arab Foundation for Development & Citizenship has organized a workshop in Amman for Civil Society Organizations on how to deal with the Media. The workshop saw the participation of 22 participants from 14 different organizations.
The workshop aimed to introduce the participants to the importance of the relationship between the media and civil society of organizations, and the importance of having a healthy relationship between them. The workshop aimed to provide participants with different journalistic skills needed to integrate in the media world.
The training included different arts of journalism, the arts of journalistic story, television and press interviews, press conferences, websites and their relationship with the media, writing new report and news story. The participants carried out practical exercises of the training they have been given in the workshop and wrote different types of news stories, exercising press conference preparation as well as television and radio interviews.
This workshop comes as part of the first phase of AFDC’s program to empower civil society organizations with the skills they need to deal with the media.
